 Am I eligible for the Shareholder program benefits if I have sold my shares?

The current and last program period runs from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. To qualify, you must have owned shares prior the annual control date October 11, 2023, and the average amount of shares held on a monthly basis from November 30, 2022 to October 11, 2023, must amount to the number of shares required for the respective benefit categories. As of February 28, 2024, it is no longer possible to register for the SAS shareholder program.

When will I receive the Shareholder program benefits?

If you fulfill all requirements, you will receive the

• Friends & Family Special offers at the ordinary campaign dates, from April 1 for one year forward
• EuroBonus Gold or Diamond status April 1, and it will be valid for one year forward, but could be longer depending on your individual EuroBonus tier level qualification period (see Terms & Privacy policy for further details)

I didn’t receive any benefits, even though the statement from my bank says I have enough shares. Why?

Whether or not you are eligible to receive Shareholder program benefits depends on your holding during the control period preceding the annual control date. To qualify for the last program period, you must have held the shares prior the annual control date October 11, 2023, and the average amount of shares held on a monthly basis from November 30, 2022 to October 11, 2023, must amount to the number of shares required for the respective benefit categories. 

Is it still possible to acquire shares and register for the Shareholder program, to take part of the travel benefits?

No. The shareholder program will be discontinued following the next program period, which means that as of October 11, 2023, it is no longer possible to qualify for the SAS shareholder program by acquiring shares in SAS AB. As of February 28, 2024, it is no longer possible to register for the SAS shareholder program.

I already have EuroBonus Gold status through the shareholder program and I qualify for next year’s program. Is there a risk that I lose this status if more than 2500 people qualify for next year's program?

Yes, if more than 2,500 participants in the program are eligible to receive EuroBonus Gold status, the benefit will be allocated to the 2,500 participants with the largest shareholding.

In the program period currently running, the number of participants who have been awarded Gold status are less than 2,500.

Do I as a shareholder get any indication on my rank in the order among the 2,500 shareholders eligible for EuroBonus Gold status?
