Photo permission
Film recording and photography of SAS crew and onboard a SAS flight requires a photo permission. In the following, you can read more about the conditions and how to apply for a photo permission onboard a SAS flight and in the airport.
On board a SAS flight

You can apply for a photo permission onboard a SAS flight by contacting SAS press office
As a minimum, please provide information about:
- Destination, date and flight number
- Purpose
- Media/company
- Participants
Conditions
The following conditions apply to all photo permissions on board a SAS flight:
- The film team shall coordinate with the cabin crew before recording begins
- Recording in cabin may only occur during the cruise, not during takeoff and landing
- It is not allowed to film other passengers without their permission
- Film Equipment may not include transmitter / receiver
- It is not allowed to use the airplane’s power socket
- Captain’s instructions are adhered to at all times
- The photo permission should be presented if requested
In the airport
Apply for permission
If you would like to film or photograph SAS crew at the airport, you must both apply for permission at SAS and the relevant airport.
When you apply for permission to film or photograph SAS crew, as a minimum, please provide information about:
- Purpose
- Media/company
- Participants
- Area at the airport for film recording and photography.
- Date and time
You can apply for a photo permission of SAS crew by contacting SAS press office and the relevant airport.
Conditions
- The film team shall coordinate with the SAS crew before recording begins
- It is not allowed to film other passengers without their permission
- If required by traffic or other conditions, SAS can stop the filming or photography at any time
- The permission is only valid if the airport has given permission as well
- The photo permission should be presented if requested
