Continued improved load factors in August

· SAS Group load factor for August was 71,8% up 5,0 p.u. vs 2004.

· Total passenger traffic (RPK) increased by 6,4% in August 2005 vs 2004.

· The SAS Group transported 3,1 million passengers in August 2005, an increase of 6,8%.

· Scandinavian Airlines Businesses’ load factor in August was 73,4% up 6,4 p.u. vs last year.

Group market trends and yield development
Group total traffic volumes (RPK) developed well in August with an increase of 6,4%. Capacity (ASK) decreased by 1,1% resulting in improved load factor of 5,0 p.u. to 71,8%.

Yield for Scandinavian Airlines in July 2005 was up by 1,1% vs. 2004. Yields for August will be reported next month, but early indications show yields at approximately the same level as last year.
